Searching for last minute egg hunts? Look no further.

This is the first year our daughter can participate in a traditional egg hunt. I’ve been looking forward to this Easter for the better part of a year – I even bought her Easter dress a few weeks after she was born, in December … 2013 … Easter dresses just look cuter on babies who can toddle around, don’t you think?

So I searched high and low for a hunt to hit up this year. And yes, it’s a little late, many were last weekend. But here are a few for you fellow “last minute” parents.

Egg Hunt: Free; Newburgh Town Office; Saturday, 10 a.m.; games and activities for children ages 0-12

Easter Bunny Breakfast: $2-$4; Old Town-Orono YMCA; Saturday; 8-11 a.m.; photos with the bunny, egg hunt and breakfast

Easter Egg Scramble: Free but donations accepted; Eddington Fire Department; 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Egg scramble, appearances by the Easter Bunny, coloring contest, face painting

Egg Hunt: Free, but register at 370-1815; Leroy H. Smith School, Winterport
